Chamber Calibration
RS-Simulation Asia’s calibration laboratory is accredited according to MS ISO/IEC 17025 (SAMM 975).
Besides, we offer on-site calibration of climatic test chambers based on methods such as Guideline DKD-R 5-7, which is widely used worldwide for calibration of climatic test chambers.
We are also able to perform the confirmation of the performance of temperature / humidity chambers as described in standards:
- IEC 60068-3-5
Environmental testing – Part 3-5: Supporting documentation and guidance – Confirmation of the performance of temperature chambers. - IEC 60068-3-6
Environmental testing – Part 3-6: Supporting documentation and guidance – Confirmation of the performance of temperature/ humidity chambers. - IEC 60068-3-7
Environmental testing – Part 3-7: Supporting documentation and guidance – Measurements in temperature chambers for tests A (Cold) and B (Dry heat) (with load).
Calibration Targets
- Determination of the deviation of the displayed values of the displays of temperature and relative humidity by comparison with the values for air temperature and relative humidity measured in the usable space with a reference standard during calibration.
- Determination of the measurement uncertainty of the temperature and the relative humidity during calibration and determination of the measurement uncertainty when using under defined conditions.
- The calibration procedure can also be carried out at individual on-site measuring locations. However, some uncertainty components are not determined and not taken into account. The result is then only valid for these locations, but not for the entire climate chamber.
